No! Actus WOO Excel works entirely with Excel files - no external accounts needed. You can export, edit, and import products using Microsoft Excel or any compatible spreadsheet software.

A Google account is only required if you want to use the Google Sheets integration feature (available in Professional and Business plans) for cloud-based collaboration.

Absolutely! Google Sheets integration is completely optional. You can work entirely with Excel files (.xlsx) if you prefer. All the smart features like dropdowns, validation, helper columns, and reference sheets work perfectly in Microsoft Excel.

No! All processing happens on your WordPress server and in your browser. Your product data stays 100% private and is never sent to third-party servers.

Google Sheets Integration (Pro & Business): When you use the Google Sheets feature, data is transmitted securely via OAuth directly to your Google account only. You control all access and permissions through Google's security system. No third parties are involved.

Features & Functionality

Yes! The plugin fully supports variable products and their variations, including attributes, default attributes, and variation-specific data. Each variation is exported as a separate row with all its properties, and parent-child relationships are maintained during import.

Absolutely! Export from Site A, import to Site B. The plugin uses SKU-first matching, which is perfect for cross-site transfers where product IDs might differ between installations.

The system will automatically match products by SKU and create new products when no match is found. All validation features work for cross-site imports with special handling for categories, tags, and attributes.

The plugin uses Excel (.xlsx) format to support advanced features like dropdowns, validation, formulas, helper columns, and reference sheets. These features cannot work in CSV format.

However, you can open the Excel file and save it as CSV if needed, though you'll lose all the smart features that make bulk editing safe and efficient.

The plugin will update existing products with matching IDs or SKUs. No duplicates are created. The validation report shows you exactly which products will be updated versus which will be created as new products.

This smart matching system ensures safe updates and prevents accidental product duplication.

Yes! Leave the ID field empty for new products, and the plugin will create them automatically. Just ensure all required fields (name, type, SKU) are present, and the validation system will verify everything is correct before import.

The plugin processes imports in batches and provides detailed reporting on which products succeeded and which failed. You can review the error messages, fix the issues in your spreadsheet, and reimport just the failed products.

Products that were successfully imported remain updated, so you don't have to start over.

Every Export After:

  1. Select your template and filters
  2. Click "Export to Google Sheets"
  3. File automatically uploads to your Google Drive
  4. Opens in new tab ready to edit

Yes! The Free version allows you to download Excel files and upload them to Google Sheets manually.

However, Professional and Business plans include direct Google Sheets integration - export directly to Google Sheets and import back without downloading/uploading files. This is perfect for team collaboration!

Yes! The Google Sheets integration works with both personal Gmail accounts and Google Workspace (business) accounts. Each user can connect their own account.

Yes! Each WordPress user can connect their own Google account. Exports go to their respective Google Drives, and they can share sheets with team members for collaboration.

Files are created in your Drive root folder (My Drive). You can organize them into folders after export. The plugin doesn't automatically create folders to give you full control over your Drive organization.

Yes! One-click disconnect from your dashboard. You can reconnect anytime. Existing sheets in your Drive remain accessible - you just won't be able to export new ones until you reconnect.
